02 Section / Production

Five processing stages under one roof

We do not outsource ring rolling, heat treatment or machining. Everything that happens to the blank after forging stays under our control — that is exactly why dimensions and structure do not "drift" between processing stages.

Cutting and heating

Marking, cutting and heating to forging temperature under pyrometer control.

Forging

Open-die forging and stamping on hammers of 5–25 t and presses up to 8000 tf, with forging ratio control.

Ring rolling

D53 ring-rolling mills for 2, 5 and 8 metres — to the finished profile without a weld seam.

Heat treatment

Hardening, normalizing and tempering in 3 / 6 / 8 m furnaces according to the schedule set in the batch process.

Machining and inspection

Turning, boring, gear cutting. Chemical composition, mechanical properties, UT, dimensional report, packaging.

04 Section / Quality

What you get with the batch

Each batch ships with a set of documents. Below is what we issue as standard; the scope of inspection is agreed before production starts, not after.

Batch quality certificate

Chemical composition, mechanical properties, heat treatment mode. Issued in a form similar to EN 10204 3.1.

Ultrasonic testing (UT)

Verification of metal soundness for the absence of internal defects per GOST R 55724 / EN 10228-3.

Surface flaw detection

Dye penetrant or magnetic particle testing per GOST 21105 / EN 10228-1 — as required by the drawing.

Dimensional report

Report on actual dimensions with deviations within the drawing. If required — at the customer's inspection points.

Certificates and approvals

05 Section / About the plant

Workshop in Dingxiang County, Shanxi Province

Dingxiang is the "Home of Chinese forging". The tradition of ironworking here goes back more than two thousand years: metal was forged in these places as early as the Han dynasty, and in the Ming era local craftsmen were called "iron men". In 1999 the county was officially awarded the title of home of Chinese forging.

Today Dingxiang accounts for over 30 % of the Chinese market for forged flanges and about 70 % of their exports, and its share in the production of flanges for wind power exceeds 60 %. This is Asia's largest base for flange production. Our plant operates right here — at a site in Dingxiang County, with its own equipment fleet and five workshops: cutting, heating, forging, ring rolling, heat treatment.

  • Drawing. PDF, DWG or STEP. A hand sketch with dimensions will also do.
  • Material. Steel grade or chemical composition requirements, if the grade is non-standard.
  • Quantity. Pieces per batch and annual demand — the price depends on this.
  • Standard and inspection. GOST / DIN / ANSI / EN and requirements for UT, flaw detection, documentation.
  • Heat treatment. Normalizing, quenching and tempering, hardening with or without tempering, or no treatment.
  • Lead times and terms. Required shipment date, delivery terms, destination port.
